Which movie are the south park and family guy episodes spoof referencing?
At the end of the Raiders of the Lost Ark episode of South Park, Cartman says that the Raiders video is going to be place somewhere where nobody will ever find it, and it shows a man nailing it into a wooden box and piling it in a warehouse somewhere.
The same scene is shown at the end of the first James Woods episode of Family Guy, when Peter has James Woods nailed into a wooden box and place into a warehouse.
I assume this is some sort of movie reference, and wondered which movie it references?

Prior to the Wright Bros. numerous inventors had been all in a race to buy the capacity to glide. That was just one of these failed aeronautical contraptions.
