It’s incredible how many awesome shows have been canceled without giving them a chance to stand out as excellent as they are. Some shows still even get on to profit after years of being canceled and there’s not hope of coming in trade. I’m not a huge fan of Seth McFarlane, but I’m glad that his show got a second chance.

i reckon he’s a genius! using that cut gone gag gives the show the simplest way to use whatever halarious skit they aspire.. it’s just like someone saying “you recognize what would be halarious?!” but it would be next to impossible to impliment it into a tale line since of it’s perfect irrelevence.. FG kicks ass

This isn’t really the origin. Family guy really was spawned from an earlier Seth Macfarlane thought called “the Life of Larry” or something like that. And alot of material from that fleeting toon was reused in Family Guy, including Peter laughing at Tom Hanks saying “I have AIDS” in the show theater and a british man yelling out the window “I dissagree!”. So thats the right beginning of the characters and material. Life of larry can be found here on youtube anyway so look it up.

family guy is the only cartoon show there that really gets me to laugh out loud. other shows like south park and the makers of south park get on to a lot of fun of family guy since they say it’s only joke after joke. and to me that is what makes this show unique and perfect. i mean who doesn’t like laughing for 20 minutes straight?
