It's nesting season for the rheas... and those eggs take forever to slot in... question these two guys here.
Only males incubate the eggs, so there is no one to take over the job from them. They get aggressive against everyone who dares strategy the eggs (even female rheas), but it would seem that constructing nests very close to each and every other is allowed? Or at least in this justification...

Es temporada de nidificación para los ñandúes... y esos huevos tardan mil años en incubarse... pregúntenle a estos dos si no.
Solamente los machos incuban, así que no hay nadie que los releve. Se ponen agresivos contra cualquiera que se atreva a acercarse a los huevos (incluso ñandúes hembra), pero parecería que... ¿hacer nidos casi pegados uno al otro está permitido? O al menos en este caso...
