How can I let my sister stop watching south park and family guy?
I am not a mother but i am a 18 years ancient sister and my 6 year ancient sister like south park and family guy.I watch those shows but didn't recognize that she was watching and start liking it since she thought it was amusing.

She’s probably not ancient enough to know the humor anyway. just don’t watch it around her anymore.

Try to keep her mind on other stuff. Maybe tan, or place in some cartoons for her. If her mind is busy doing something or watching something else she will forget all about it. Also try not to watch it around her since then she also will aspire to watch it.

Televisions usually come with a v-chip. use it. I like Family Guy and never thought much of watching it with my kids around until my daughter started pointing out Peter at about age 4. And I’m sure she gets some of the jokes. Kids are learning things sooner and sooner. Reckon about the stuff you understood at 8, she probably understands it now.

That’s amusing, I was going to question what parents on here thought of Family Guy–I like it so much, but it’s innapropriate (although very amusing) for a kid who can know what all the jokes mean. Being 6, I don’t reckon she understands much of it, but probably some. I recognize when I was childish, my grown-up sisters loved Saturday Night Live and I started watching it, too. I still like the grown-up episodes. If you really don’t like her watching it, just say things like how you reckon it’s such a dumb show/you don’t like it, etc. then just don’t watch it around her. Open fire on see that it’s “uncool” and will hopefully get into kids’ cartoons again. She also might be watching it just since it is a cartoon.

Well being a mother of a 3 year ancient I Do not choose with letting them watch them two Tv shows has anyone stopped and watch them they do things and say-things that no kid below th

i was around her age when i started watching south park it is amusing
but if you aspire her to stop watching that stuff just go into a further room when you watch it
or check the channels that show south park and family guy

parental check on the TV. you can check by channell, calculate, or rating. Maybe you need to discuss this with your parents and place a rating check on the cable box. For an adult to watch a show that the child is not allowed to watch, a code digit has to be typed in. I do this for my kids…otherwise I would never get to watch TV, they would be watching TV all the calculate and not letting me watch anything.
