   The jokes in family guy are extremely random and have nothing to do with the plot but the jokes can make me laugh a lot while the simpsons jokes might make me smirk a little.

   I’ve never watched a full Family Guy episode (cuz I couldn’t). I think it is an unoriginal copy of The Simpsons, but I don’t watch the Simpsons too often either.

   i like the simpsons cuz i grew up with them and they have a better story…half the stuff on fam guy isnt even funny. they tend to overdo it

    I like both, they’re just made for different audiences, it’s not like you could put family guy on at prime time every weeknight, normally family guy is on later.. but i’d probably prefer family guy for the reason that it doesn’t have to be conservative at all which allows it to be funnier

    Sometimes Family guy does steal from the Simpsons, but their writers do have some originality. Family guy is more adult unlike the Simpsons, so the jokes are a little more inappropriate. That’s right up my alley so I go with Family Guy

    I used to hate watching The Simpsons. My brother would force me to watch it and I would be so bored out of my mind.

    I love Family Guy, even though sometimes its stupid.

    Family Guy imho is a better version of the Simpsons. Sure Simpsons is classic stuff, but Family Guy is way funnier and I think has more bite.

    Family Guy started out as an unoriginal copy of The Simpsons, but now The Simpsons is an unoriginal copy of Family Guy and an embarrassingly pathetic caricature of what it once was.

    family guy is funnier but what is up with the chicken fights (the chickens name is ernie) and they go for a quater of the epsisodes

    Family Guy is the only one I am familiar with.

    I don’t know why but I just have never managed to see The Simpson’s although they’ve been on for twenty years.

    From what I can understand the only similarity is the lead character, the father is somewhat of a moron.

    Stewie the diabolical infant and the talking dog Brian* are two of the most unusual characters in cartoon comedy. Other than a smart mouthed son, I don’t think the characters on the Simpson’s are all that unusual.

    Family guy is by far funnier then any show i have ever watched, Friends being next in line. But the jokes on family guy are more sarcastic, and pretty much retarded. Why i like it..
