Why are Conservatives using Family Guy avatars when it is one of the most liberal shows on television?
The creator is a huge liberal who puts his liberal lies blatantly into every show. They attack Christians and Republicans like its nothing. Yet Conservatives here use family guy avatars (i've seen peter, brian and Stewie used) when they should be boycotting this show. Its what is brainwashing our children and making all the clueless college kids vote for liberals like Obama!

Because they are actually more tolerant than liberals claim themselves to be….
It only brainwashes people who can’t think for themselves…and just because an adult watches it, doesn’t mean they allow their children to watch it…yes, conservatives actually watch and teach their children, instead of getting mad and sueing a station when the kid learns something bad from a TV show.

Because it’s a funny show. I don’t have any political boundaries when it comes to entertainment.
I have no trifle with Conservatives. They are only people with different views. It’s not like I consider them the bane of my existance.
And show me one scene where any Family Guy character makes a hint at voting Democrat… come on…

Have you ever considered that people might like a funny TV show just because it is funny, and not really care that much about the politics behind it? It is okay for people to do thing (like choose avatars) that aren’t politically motivated.

i think they probably just don’t care.. conservatives tend to be more laid back i think. we don’t freak out about things and make ourselves look stupid. i am conservative, but i like family guy. i think it’s hilarious. i guess i just don’t care about the liberal comments? idk. doesn’t bother me.

As someone who has absolutely nothing to do with US Politics, it seems to an awful lot to me like what it consists of is believing that the other half is completely evil and terrible, and that America is actually two countries, with two completely different ways of life.
This can’t actually be true.
Satire is an important part of democracy, and I thought democracy was what America was all about? Or is that a thing of the past?
If America is the land of the free, why can’t Family Guy be free to put out whatever it wants?

Because the show is very funny. When I first signed up here a few years ago I selected Brian’s face as my avatar because I love the character and we share the same first name. There is no question that some outrageous things come out of the show but it is funny nonetheless..
